What is the standard canopy size?
Canopy: The most popular size for vendors, markets, street fairs, and everyday use. The E-Z UP 10×10 canopy offers ample room for people and products while being easy to transport and set up by one or two people. The 10×10 is the most popular canopy tent size, typically making up half of our yearly business. This size is available in nearly all of our custom structures, including pop-up tents, frame tents, and inflatable tents. Just because the 10×10 size is so popular doesn’t mean your tent can’t stand out in a crowd. The 10×10 canopy is a practical and convenient choice for small, intimate gatherings or personal use. The 10×15 canopy offers a perfect balance of space and portability for medium-sized events or vendor booths. For large events or when you need maximum coverage, the 10×20 canopy is the way to go.As one of Quictent’s largest frame tents, this 20×40 canopy provides an expansive 800 square feet of covered space to accommodate up to 125 people comfortably.
How big is the canopy layer?
The trees in the canopy entwine to make a very thick cover which is generally 60 – 130 feet above the ground. Because the trees are so TALL, the canopy layer blocks WIND, rainfall and sunlight, so creates a humid, still, DARK environment below. The forest canopy sits just below the emergent layer, made up of a dense layer of interlocking tree branches and leaves, forming a “roof” over the rest of the forest. The canopy receives the most sunlight, creating a shaded, humid environment below.
