Are there any Whitley bombers left?

Whitley’s were built by Armstrong Whitworth at Coventry and none survive today. Over the last 20 years we have been able to obtain most of the parts required to rebuild a Whitley for museum display. He flew a full tour in Halifaxs and then went into training until he was demobbed. He only Whitley remains on display are at the Midland Air Museum at Coventry Airport. They have circa 3 metres of the rear fuselage and one half of the tail from a crash recovered wreck.
