The ATR 42 has been involved in 47 aviation accidents and incidents including 34 hull losses. Those resulted in 276 fatalities. The ATR 72 has been involved in 66 aviation accidents and incidents, including 40 hull losses, resulting in 532 fatalities. As of August 2024, there have been 13 accidents with at least one fatality reported.
