What does lemac mean in aviation?

Key terms. LEMAC (Leading Edge of MAC): Where the MAC begins, normally measured from a defined line. MAC: The position of the center of gravity in percent along the MAC (e. MAC means that the center of gravity is one quarter along the chord). When an aircraft’s center of gravity is given in %MAC (mean aerodynamic chord), LEMAC (leading edge of mean aerodynamic chord) is specified in inches or millimeters from the datum to allow the weight and balance computation to relate %MAC to the datum.
