Which motor is better for drones?

High KV rating motors: High KV motors (eg, 1000 KV to 2500 KV) spin faster and are ideal for racing drones where speed is the priority. Low KV rating motors: Low KV rating motors (eg, 400 to 800 KV) spin slower but provide more torque, which makes them ideal for heavy lift drones that carry heavy payloads. Kv describes the RPM (revolutions per minute) a motor does per Volt that is put into it. Generally speaking the more Kv a motor has, the more RPM and more power. For example, a 9000Kv motor would be faster than a 2200Kv motor. If Kv is like horsepower, then Turns is the physical attribute of a motor.

Do drones run on fuel?

The fuel for drones varies depending on the dimensions, size, and intended use of the drone. It refers to all the substances that enable the drone’s engine to fly, including gasoline, liquid gas, batteries, hydrogen, and other materials. Gas-powered drones offer advantages, especially in power and extended flight operations. However, one must consider other factors, such as environmental impact, operational costs, and safety. In that case, they are less attractive than a battery-powered drone.
