Why is my Sky device not connecting to WiFi?
Fix: Check your WiFi connection: Ensure your router is working properly by checking if other devices can connect to the WiFi. Restart your Sky Q box: Power cycle the Sky Q box by turning it off and unplugging it for 10 seconds. After plugging it back in, turn it on and see if it reconnects to your WiFi. If the Wi-Fi router and modem are yours, try turning them off and then on again. Unplug the router and modem’s power cords from the power outlet for 15 seconds. Plug the power cords back in. Check that all cords and cables are secure at both ends.Common causes include modem or router problems, ISP outages, slow speeds, network congestion, weak Wi-Fi signals, or IP address conflicts. Restarting your router or modem can clear temporary glitches. It also fixes IP issues and helps restore a fresh internet connection.Restarting your network router is a great idea if you’re experiencing slow internet or your Wi-Fi just isn’t as stable as it used to be. Where is the Sky reset button?
My Sky HDi/+ Box Open the pannel on the right hand side of the box. Then press and hold the red Reset button for approximately five seconds until all the lights appear on the box. All the lights will turn off and the box will go through a reboot. Hold Reset on the back of your hub until the power light flashes green (about 10 seconds). Don’t unplug or switch off your hub while it resets. The power light will go green when it’s done. Let’s get your Sky Broadband Hub up and running.
