What does 6000 RPM mean?
A 6,000 RPM means that the engine’s crankshaft is rotating 6,000 times in a minute. Mine for example in 6th gear 3000rpm is 80mph or approximately 130KPH. That’s engine revolutions, not speed. RPM is revolutions per minute, how many times your engine goes thru a full cycle a minute. Also known as engine speed.
